According to authorities, a man with a machete carried out a deadly overnight attack on two men in Downtown LA.
The incidents occurred shortly after midnight at two different locations. Police received a report of a stabbing near Grand Avenue and Eleventh Street.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arrival, officials said.
The second man, believed to be in his 30s, was found at Broadway and Olympic and taken to the hospital, where he remains in stable condition, police reported.
The suspect, who was shirtless, was located at 15th and Broadway with what looked like the weapon and was arrested, officials confirmed.
As of now, investigators have not shared any clues about the suspect’s possible motive.
