A large crowd of protesters blocked the Sixth Street Bridge in downtown LA on Tuesday afternoon.
All lanes—eastbound and westbound—were blocked due to the demonstration.
AIR7 captured aerial footage of dozens of protesters marching across the bridge, many holding signs and waving flags. A large banner displayed on the bridge read: “Sick of ICE!” and a parked truck had a sign that read “ICE out of L.A.!”
Several barricades marked with caution tape were put in place by the group, along with a bold sign that read: “Eviction moratorium now!”
So far, the protest has remained calm, and authorities have not announced any arrests.
The protest is part of a broader day of action in L.A., with multiple rallies urging an end to immigration raids and evictions.
