In a touching tribute, the Academy recognised the bravery of firefighters who fought devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
On Sunday night, host Conan O’Brien invited a team of firefighters onto the stage, where they received a standing ovation from the audience.
“On behalf of everyone in greater Los Angeles, thank you for all you do,” O’Brien said before he welcomed the LA firefighters.
Throughout the night, the tragic wildfires and the bravery of first responders and firefighters remained a central theme, offering both entertainment and a powerful reminder of their heroic efforts to safeguard Los Angeles.
The Grammy Awards last month also honored Los Angeles firefighters with a heartfelt reception.
